Are the Shimano Tyrnos reels any good?
I usually use the calcutta 700 but was looking at the tyrnos reels (I think that's how its spelled). I'll put it on a Trevala rod and use it primarily for snapper and grouper. The calcutta reels are excellent but the tyrnos reels are cheaper and I belive they have a little better drag system. Any one with experience with these reels, your help and opinion would be greatly appreciated.
You're right Shimano Trynos really have better drag system and cheaper price. Why don't you try Tiagra? They're the best reels I'ed ever known.
