The Sage Xi2 fly rod is specially designed for saltwater fly fishing. The components from which they are constructed are able to endure any saltwater conditions as well as the tidal flow. The Sage Xi2 is Sage's top saltwater rod and is ranked and one of the most excellent saltwater fly rods around.
Sage Xi2 Rods feature low-profile, oversized guides and round tip-top guides to cut down friction and cope with large knots, as well as custom, saltwater-safe reel seats. how do i replace the crank rod on my yamaha yz85?
I need to replace the crank rod on my yamaha yz 85, i have the crankshaft out of the engine casing but how do i open the crankshaft? sorry if this doesn't make sense i am a non motoring woman, driven mad by my hubby trying to fix this thing for weeks!
Rebuilding the crank(ie;replacing Rod & Bearing),,,is a sorta "specialty operation" requiring special tools,facilities,,,,,and skills.
All too expensive to aquire for a 1-time repair.
Good News is there's 2 easy options ,,both a Lot less Costly than "do it yersef"
#1,,,take /send the crank to a shop & have them do it.
#2...Yamaha has "fresh ,New" crankshafts ready to install.
Many Yamaha places also have "Rebuilt Cranks",,,ready to install and the price is Barely more than just buying new parts.
Also,,,any shop can install the "new" crank for very low cost.
The things require Special Tools to assemble,,,otherwise there's a Very Good possibilty of going back to square 1 within Minutes of runtime.
That's sorta an insult to Folks who wanna Do-It-Theirself,,,because it's Not a Difficult or complicated job for most anyone to do.
The TRICK is in having the Special Tools.
They are rather hard to come by,,,and Expensive.
So in Practical Terms...Best Bet is ,,Pay somebody who's Skilled & Equipped few $$ to do it.

Parts ONLY required to rebuild the crank/Replace the Rod,,
Total approx $70
Most shops charge about 1 Hour Labour to rebuild the crank,,,$50~75???
A Rebuilt Crank is as low as $125
New one is over $300
Hopefully that's calm the madness a bit.
