Damp air smelling of musky cedar
I run my Fingers down the book of a pine tree
it crumbles off. I feel sap
sticky and bitter to my hand
golden autumn leaves crunch below my toes
they hold pools of clear water droplets
hush, hush
the world whispers
though my mind is alive with chaos
thoughts bounce around
like flies trapped in a window
I can taste the coming snows each time I take a breath
already, I feel the frost on my tongue
sitting would help my numb toes
but the rotting wood lacks the strength
to hold me
ferns branching from the ground
offer a soft resting place
but I leave them be
it is time for me to leave
I may never see this place again
the memory will always stay clear
this is one place in the world
I can actually disappear
Actually, the poem is a sad poem. It's about a place I used to go Sorry if that was unclear.

Positives first. You have an admirable imagination, for sure! I absolutely love the imagery describing the little haven in the forest, and I'm sure that you do too. ^^
Amazing personification, metaphors, literary/rhetorical devices.
However, the first three fourths of the poem are description, and don't have much else in them, and then suddenly at the end, in your resolution, you add a lot of details that you made no reference to before. Perhaps you should try to thread more emotion throughout the poem if you're going to end that way, or just have the whole poem as a description.
Also, I didn't quite understand line 2 about the fingers running down the book of a pine tree? First of all, why did you capitalize Fingers? It doesn't seem to have any significant meaning...And was 'book' a typo?
All in all, it's a good poem. Needs some work and editing, but it has beautiful ideas!
