Fishing charters off Miami Beach are heating up as the fall moves in
As the first cool fall breezes kiss the coast of Miami & Miami Beach the deep sea fishing begins to heat up. Sailfish, Wahoo, Kingfish and Dolphin (Mahi Mahi) all begin their migration south, and warm waters off Miami Beach is where they are all headed. This time of year the warm waters of the Gulf Stream move east toward the beaches and flood over the bait rich reefs. It is the intersection of all of these conditions that bring the Sailfish, kingfish and Mahi with in 3 miles of the beautiful beaches of Miami.
As the first North East winds begin to blow and the North current of the Gulf Steam collide, game fish of all kinds move in to feed. Trapped bait stuck between the cooler reef water and warmer waters of the Gulf Stream stack up as the currents push against the north winds of the season's cold fronts. Just like the birds all of the fish head south every winter. Miami Beach is where a lot of the population windup spending their winter.
Live bait suspended under a kite flown from the outriggers of the All New 57' Spellbound is the best way to get in on all of that great action. We believe in "match the hatch" bait fishing, so local caught Threadfin Herring, Pilchards, Blue Runners, Goggle Eye & many others caught each day while on our charters make the best live bait. We catch our bait daily out on our local reefs, close to where the predators are feeding. That way we are offering them what they are looking for.
Suspending live bait on light tackle from a kite is one of the most exiting tactics for targeting almost all of the great game fish. Watching a seven foot plus Sailfish grab a live bait only feet from the back of the boat and explode into the air, tail walking away with amazing speed as line pours off your fishing reel is what it is all about. Keeping your line tight, as the fish tries every evasive maneuver for almost an hour as you slowly get your trophy catch closer and closer to the boat. Miraculously the leader breaks the surface and your great catch is moments from being landed. A skilled mate in the water holds your amazing catch, as you snap a few pictures and a measurement is secured. Your conquered Sailfish is released, and you watch him slowly swim away & you are both victorious!

are there any good fishing piers on hilton head island?
i looked on google and google maps and couldnt find anything so does anyone know something close to the bottom east side of the island but im willing to drive all round the island as long as theres fish at the peir
I live in Beaufort SC and i sometimes visit hilton head most of the piers are good except for the piers near the west side of the island they have fish but they are small i recommend going to the bottom of the island there are afew bait and tackle shops that will let you use there piers
