Copper Wire and its significance

Copper metal is the most popular choice for the electrical wire manufacturers for making all the electrical wiring products such as Tinned Copper Wire, Television Earthing Wire, tin wire, tin coated copper wires, glass wire. The properties of copper such as its high conductivity, purity, ductility and slow corrosion make it the suitable metal for electrical wiring. It is very easy to draw copper in to thin wires. Copper is reckoned as an inseparable part of several alloys that are basically the combinations of metals that are melted collectively.

Copper is a popular choice since the early ages. In the Bronze Age, the bronze and copper were utilized for the construction of devising tools as well as the weapons. The distinguishing characteristics of copper are its resistance to corrosion. The Laminated Flexible Jumpers Manufacturer makes use of copper for making Flexible Jumpers. The main characteristics of copper wires that give it an upper edge to the other wires are:

Ø  High Metal Conductivity- Copper is a better conductor of electricity in comparison to the other non-precious metals. The Wires that are drawn from copper are capable of carrying more power per diameter of wire. In other words, copper wire dissipates less charge when the electricity passes through it.

Ø  Malleability- copper is a soft metal, so it is easy to convert it to any shape in order to meet several requirement of electrical wiring. The flexibility of copper wires makes it a preferred choice for the wiring purposes all over the world. Tinned Copper Wire is the result of coppers malleability.

Ø  Durability- owing to its high durability, copper doesn't rust and corrode. Whether it is immense cold or intensive heat copper is not effected by the weather. High melting point of copper makes it convenient eliminates the risk of posing any danger for the users.

Ø  Global Standard- Copper wiring is accepted all over the world for the electrical wiring fro home as well as commercial wiring. Nowadays, it is ensured that the new buildings are compatible to copper wiring. This helps at the time of rewiring in the future.

Ø  Preferred Choice- copper has become a preferred choice for the electrical wiring. All the hardware stores surely have it. It is available in several sizes; owing to the high availability of copper wire it is available at a comparatively low cost in comparison to the other wires available in the market.

It is because of the above stated advantages that copper is widely used for the construction of tinned wire, glass wire. It is copper is even used for plumbing and for the construction of heating applications.

what is the difference between bronze and platinum B.C. Rich Warlock Guitars?

I have a bronze warlock that i re-finished, put custom paint, and a custom wired humbucker that sounds deadly. I received a trade offer for a platinum warlock, stock. But he wants to keep his widow headstock, and i have the bronze series neck. The thing is, if the only difference is the headstock, then i'm losing out because i spent 12 hours painting the thing, because i will trade it off and end up with the same guitar. I don't know. If anyone could be of some assistance to me, i would surely appreciate it.

Providing that the 2 links I pasted below are the guitars in question, one obvious difference in the headstock. The platinum has 1 extra knob in comparison to the Bronze series. Im not sure if its an independent volume or 1 extra tone knob. Also, the platinum guitar has a string through body design which is preferred for stability and sustain. The Platinum lists the humbuckers as BDSM, where the Bronze just says 2 humbuckers. The BDSM humbuckers aren't anything to write home about.
The reality of it is that neither guitar is really that great. The platinum series however has better options and features on it, and would be more desirable in comparison.
It sounds like you put a lot of time and effort into your guitar. Do you enjoy playing it? If so, then keep it. I have an old NJ series Warlock from the 80s that is just ok in my book. If you don't mind, or even like repainting the guitars, I would do the trade, one guitar for the other. But if he just wants part of your guitar (the body) with an upgraded pickup in it... I would say no. However, I prefer the inline tuners over the widow headstock, although I have both styles on my 2 BC Richs, the other is a Jr V Deluxe.
So my bottom line is, keep the guitar. Its something to be proud of that you redid the paint job. Eventually if you stick with guitar, you will get something else that will blow the BC Rich out of the water... but you should put it on your wall if anything. And if its your first guitar, don't get rid of it... you only have 1 first guitar!
