A Package Of These Tips Will Keep Bass Biting All Summer
It's only gonna get hotter, and you need to dig deep into the bag of tricks to keep the bass

* How to attract the attention of big bass in your area with "psycho minnows", and get them fired up for the kill!
* How to mimic a bait fish in distress with an old school "spinner deflection" secret. (This recreates the most common natural scenario for bass attacks on prey... and you can do it over and over again around cover to catch bass at will.)
* How to pick off straggling bass around 4 different "edges" when the bite shuts down on hot

Anyone familiar with bass fishing knows there are several variables that determine what type bass fishing lures work best, and theories and opinions on what works best are as plentiful and varied as the people who enjoy the sport of bass fishing. There are so many types and colors of these particular lures that it can be very confusing, to say the least. One thing that is certain is that no matter how much information you have on bass fishing lures and
techniques, there is no substitute for trial and error, and nothing that can take the place of experience.
Even before going any farther, realize too that the right lure depends on the location of the fish. For this reason,always make at least one of your stops out onto the lake the local tackle shop where you can find experts who are more than willing to let you in on which lures they use most often. This will save you time and money and give you insider tips specific to the region you are fishing in.
There are many manufacturers, each with their own spin on what is best, but whatever works best for you should determine what you choose. There is no one lure that works best, but there are some lures that had withstood the test of time and are generally accepted as working very well.
Consider the Color Bass fishing lures come in many, many colors, but black, blue, green, and red are considered the best. Even if these are the only colors you ever choose, they will be sufficient. Blue and black jigs are the most commonly used fishing lures by experience anglers and work well when bass fishing.There are some considerations beyond

I already know all of the major and minor modes, as well as the blues scale and minor pentatonic.
By modes you mean Aeloean, Phyregean, Dorian etc?

the #7 is the enharmonic note of the tonic so there are only 7 notes on this "blues scale"

Ionian is relative to the tonic
Dorian is relative to step 2
phrygian is relative to step 3
Aeloian is relative to step 4
by relative they have the same number of sharps and flats but conceptually begins on the relative tonic. (Similar to relative minor but begins on the relative tonic,)
